Guitar Lessons for Kids & Adults, Beginners and Experienced Players
Welcome to Little Rock Guitar Lessons where students learn to make music with others, not just take guitar lessons. Instructor Read Admire has developed a unique guitar lesson curriculum that he tailors to each student’s individual learning style. This creative approach quickly helps students learn their favorite songs and start making music with others. Each student receives a weekly one-on-one guitar lesson with an option to participate in a monthly group guitar lesson with other students. Guitar lessons are in the River Market Tower in Downtown Little Rock.
Guitar lessons are for kids and adults alike, and whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, Read will have you playing along with your favorite songs and jamming with other musicians in no time!

Read Admire graduated with a BA in Music from UALR where he studied jazz, classical, rock, latin, folk, and pop guitar styles.
He holds a Master of Public Service degree from the CIinton School of Public Service where he studied program design and interned for the South African National Youth Orchestra where he evaluated musical pedagogies from some of the best orchestral instructors in the world.
Read’s approach to teaching guitar lessons will help students to learn Proper Technique, Cover Songs, Music Theory, Improvisation, Song Writing, Music Production, and Group Performances.
In addition to teaching guitar lessons, Read is an actively gigging musician in Little Rock where he has been a member of jazz big bands, rock n roll bands, New Orleans style brass bands, small jazz/RnB combos, gospel choirs, and church praise teams. He currently plays bass/guitar/keys for the rock band The Church Fires and plays guitar with Little Rock based jazz singer Bri Ailene in various iterations of her band.
ART vs. CRAFT of Music Making
The ART of music making:
The ART is the “why” of music making. ART allows us to express our inner most feelings; to connect with others; to tell our story; to give meaning to the world around us. Artists take everything they’ve learned and experienced and channel those things into an original expression of their authentic self. Whether it’s a Beethoven symphony or a beginner playing an inspired rhythm on a single note— everyone is capable of creating original ART from their current level of understanding. Looking at making music from this place gives beginners the ability to immediately begin creating inspired original works.
The CRAFT of music making:
The CRAFT is the “what” of music making. Honing one’s CRAFT is learning the particular skills and abilities to be able to create the ART that matches the artist taste but may be outside of their current ability. While ART can be made at every stage of development, the CRAFT is never ending. There is always something new to learn. Looking at making music from this place keeps students moving towards making ART that matches their ever evolving taste.
